Fees and Conditions
My services are generally billed based on an agreed hourly fee plus VAT and expenses based on the time spent. Regardless of the outcome of the case, all legal efforts are to be paid for, including the initial consultation and telephone or email inquiries as well as travel time. In particular, this includes all time spent studying files, providing advice, corresponding with clients and third parties, drafting legal documents, preparing negotiations and representing clients in court and in authorities, including travel.
invoicing
As a rule, an advance payment is required for the amount of the anticipated expenditure. A detailed invoice will be issued at the end of the mandate or upon request. My efforts, the time required and the expenses will be recorded in detail. For longer mandates, interim invoices will be issued.
legal expenses insurance
If you have taken out legal protection insurance that covers tenancy law, criminal law or road traffic law, please contact them in advance and check whether your insurance covers the legal case and whether you are allowed to hire a lawyer yourself (free choice of lawyer). Ask your legal protection insurance company for a written confirmation of the costs early on so that the insurance company can guarantee that the costs will be covered. You will still owe me fees, even if your legal protection insurance (partially) covers my fees.

Official Defense
If serious allegations are made against you in criminal proceedings, or at least if the case is not a minor one, you may be entitled to legal representation. Please contact me about this.
